Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you create an account we collect your email address. We store your subscription status, the business ideas you save or validate, and preferences you configure in the dashboard. We do not collect payment card details — billing is processed by Stripe and governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

How We Use It

We use your email to authenticate your account and send transactional messages (account confirmations, subscription receipts, and product updates). We use your saved ideas and settings to personalise your dashboard and to compute signal scores. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Signal Scores

Signal scores are generated by querying publicly available data sources (search trends, domain availability, social signals, and similar). No personally identifiable information is transmitted to these sources beyond what is required to perform the lookup.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business record-keeping (e.g. billing receipts).

Your Rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@businessideadepot.com.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and an analytics cookie to understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email and update the effective date above. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance.
